This game was made in 72 hours for the 2023 Global Game jam

Welcome to Rutabodega! 

Your job is to continuously grow crops, keep your shop stocked and ensure each customer walks away happy with a basket full of veggies. 

FARMING: Select the seeds you want to grow by opening the seed drawer at the top of the screen. Click on a seed bag and close the drawer. Select the spot in the garden you wish to grow your crop. Be careful though, different crops need different amounts of space to grow so manage their placement carefully. Once planted, your crops will ask for either water or fertilizer, you can grab it for them by clicking the icons on the bottom then clicking the crop that's asking for it. You only need to water/fertilize the "head crop" for the plant to be satisfied. When the crops are satisfied with their care you can harvest them with the shovel in the same manner. Harvested crops automatically go to your stall and are available for customers. The ground where the crop you just harvested will then become overgrown with roots and unable to be used for a short period of time. 

STALL: Select veggies from the baskets and fill the order area. The amount of space a vegetable takes up is the same as the space they needed in the garden, keep that in mind when packing orders. When you're done, click the "check" button to hand off an order or, if you made a mistake, selected the "X" to empty the order space and start packing again. Most customers aren't picky and the types of vegetables in the baskets don't matter to them unless specified. As long as the basket is as full as they're asking they'll be happy. Underfill a basket and the customer will get upset and damage your reputation. Upset 3 customers and you'll be so poorly rated you'll have to close the stall (Oh-no!) Successful orders will reward you with money, your goal is to keep the stall open as long as you can and generate as much money as possible! Different crops are worth different amounts: Carrot - $1 Beet - $2 Celery - $3 Potato - $4
